Sitting by the fire is one of my favorite places to be. I love the feeling of the warmth on a cold day. I love the process of building and tending to a fire, the way it makes time slow down. Helping ensure others experience these same joys is the reason I became a chimney sweep. There's something innately human about enjoying a fire, but there is also a lot of science behind today's modern systems.
